Woman to hand out 'obese letters' to overweight children on Halloween

“You [sic] child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.

My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits.”

My guess is, this woman won’t be handing out her letters to all the “fat” trick-or-treaters, for the simple reason that she’s pretty much accomplished her goal by sending her letter to the media.  I could be wrong though, and I’m looking forward to finding out what happens, heheh.

I don’t have overweight children, and her attitude offends me.  Who does she think she is, telling other parents how to parent their own children?

If she did dare to send out her letters, I’d send her one in reply that went something like:

“You, in MY opinion, are a rude, judgmental, and hypocritical woman.  You should not be sitting around trying to figure out how other people ought to raise their children.

MY hope is that you will step up as a person and keep your bossy thoughts to yourself, and not try to bully the neighborhood children (and their parents) by calling them names just because you don’t like the way they look to you.  You are neither their parent nor their doctor.”

If she REALLY wanted to “do” something about the kids she sees that she thinks are overweight, she’d hand out toys or stickers, instead of candy and letters.  But no, she just wants to flap her proverbial gums and tell everyone how they should live according to her rules.

I read an awesome story recently about a dad with an epileptic son who can’t eat sugar, so he found an alternative way for his kid to say on his diet, and enjoy Halloween, too.  How To Achieve The World's Most Beautiful Halloween Hack (PHOTO)  What a great, and loving, dad!

That woman could take a lesson.  Heck, we all could.
